What are start and end frames?
TL;DR — updated July 16 2026

Start and end frames anchor a generation: you supply the exact image the clip should begin or end on, and the model animates between them. Two production uses: pinning the hook (the first frame decides the scroll — anchor it on your strongest product image) and chaining clips (clip B starts on clip A's final frame, so a multi-clip ad cuts seamlessly). Supported across v4v's Lab models where the underlying engine allows it.

The hook-frame play

Feed your best product shot as the start frame so second zero is exactly the image you chose — no roll of the dice on the most valuable frame in the ad.

The chaining play

Generate an 8-second showcase, take its last frame as the next clip's start frame, and build a 20-second ad from consistent segments.

Paste a product link. The brief builds itself.

Generate product videos, UGC-style ads and hooks in about 5 minutes.

FAQs

Start frame vs reference image?

A reference guides style/subject loosely; a start frame is pixel-anchored — the clip literally begins there.

Can I end on a CTA card?

Yes — supply the end frame with your CTA design and the motion resolves into it.
